When considering where to go on holiday, Santander is an area of Spain often overlooked – something we urge you to take advantage of!  It is the capital Cantabria, a Northern region of Spain situated between Asturias and the Basque country.  Despite being a capital, it remains a very traditional and tranquil city – ideal for those who like to immerse themselves in culture when abroad.  It is also a city which is very accessible – the theatres, museums and beautiful beaches give the destination a universal appeal.  More personal than the typical tourist cities, should you choose to spend a significant amount of time in Santander, you will find you will really be able to take advantage of all it has to offer and quickly become acquainted with the local culture…something we very much recommend!  The best way to go about doing this is to consider investing in property here. By doing this, like the locals, you will be able to take advantage of the buzzing markets of Santander, meet with friends the animated bars and take your time to explore the surrounding areas – picture perfect scenery right on your doorstep!

Heading further South to the more well known Costa Blanca, you will find beaches and which can even rival the aforementioned in Cantabria.  Visitors can take advantage of the dramatically scenic coast lines by whatever means suits them – whether it is a relaxing walk through the local town or an exhilarating paraglide which appeals, Costa Blanca is able to cater.  Like Santander, this is an excellent place to consider when it comes to buying Spanish property.  Already, many people are enjoying a new life in their Costa Blanca villa or apartment, enjoying the fact they have a place in the sun to escape to should the daily grind (or indeed weather) at home become too much.  The Spanish real estate industry is booming and it is for good reason.  Why not do some research today – whether it is property in Santander or Costa Blanca which appeals, we can assure you that you will fall in love with your second home.
