NH Express Santander

Another four star hotel, the NH Express Santander is located in the city's shopping district and the Nueva Montaña Business Park, just three kilometers from Santander's historic center. With its address at Avda Parayas, 50, 39011 it is a few minutes from the El Corte Inglés (Hipercor) shopping center and has easy access to the Parayas airport (2 km). Cost of double per night costs anywhere from 39 to 126 euros.

The NH Ciudad de Santander is conveniently located in the shopping and service district, close to the popular Puerto Chico and 1,000 meters from the Sardinero beach. A middle class hotel in Santander, its room costs for two are pegged at 46-168 euros.

Hotel Central

The first class Hotel Central, meantime is situated right in the center of Santander and is close to the bay. It is said to have an important part jn Santander’s history and was last refurbished in 2001.
It has 41 rooms-nine singles, 31 double rooms and one suite -- all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, radios, a working desk and in some, a mini-bar. All bathrooms have bathtubs, hair dryers and welcome sets. Room costs for two are placed at 50-150 euros.
The Hotel Central is 500 meters away from the bus and train stations. It is three kilometers away from the Parayas airport and five minutes away from the beaches and the casino by either car or bus. If one drives by car from the Parayas airport he/she should exit the highway at Centro ciudad, zona maritime, turn left at the roundabout located in front of the ferry and, on leaving the post office behind (Correos), enter the Plaza Portida and turn right.
Along with a restaurant and bar, Hotel Central has a 24 hour front desk and express check-in/check out services. As well, it has non-smoking, allergy-free and family rooms, a bridal suite, heating and a safe deposit box. Guests may either order room service or sample the hotel’s breakfast buffet. Continental breakfast is priced at 2.57 euros per person with cold breakfast at 5.33 euros per person.
Parents can also avail of laundry/dry cleaning and ironing services, while its business center offers Internet, fax and photo copy facilities. Complimenting these amenities are shoe shine and car rental services.
Hotel Chateau La Roca

A first class hotel, the Suite Hotel Palacio del Mar offers rooms and suites that can accommodate four to five persons. Inaugurated in 1995 and renovated in 1999, it has a 61 room capacity.
Located 150 meters from the famous beach El Sardinero, it offers first class amenities like a restaurant / piano bar, a tennis court, a sauna and fitness center, a three kilometer golf course, massage and Turkish/steam bath and an indoor swimming pool and a bridal suite. One can order room service or dine at their banquet facilities. The hotel also has a business center which provides Internet, ticket, WiFi / wireless LAN, fax and photo copy services.
For the busy mother, they offer babysitting services, laundry, dry-cleaning and ironing, a car rental service and currency exchange. It also has terraces in some rooms and hydro-massage in others as well as PC / fax connections. Room costs for two are pegged at 55 to 210 euros.
Vinci Puertochico Hotel

The Vinci Puertochico Hotel is situated at the Marina of Puertochico, on the shore of Santander's bay in the historical center of the city and a few meters from the beach. Specifically it is within the vicinity of Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, el Museo Marítimo del Cantábrico and the High Performance Mailing Center Principe Felipe.
From the promenade where the hotel is located, one can enjoy an expansive view of the Santander Bay dubbed as one of the most beautiful in the world. A few minutes walk and one can either head to the city or in the other way to Santander’s restaurants and shopping centers.
The hotel offers a la carte restaurant, a cocktail bar, pillows à la carte and public parking at the hotel's door. It is part of the Vincci Hoteles chain and is said to be “gay friendly.”
Aside from the usual Continental breakfast and a sumptuous breakfast buffet, one can also enjoy the “pinchos” and “raciones” menu, either at the cafeteria or in the summer terrace. There one can help himself/herself to a wide range of gourmet coffees, tea and an ample variety of pastries. Room service is available from 11.00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
